Men’s soccer falls in double overtime

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men’s soccer team fell 1-0 to the visiting University of Redlands Bulldogs 9-3, 7-2 SCIAC) in double overtime earlier this evening.

The two sides battled back and forth throughout the 90 minutes of regulation. The Panthers (7-6, 5-5 SCIAC) rattled off 19 shots, forcing Bulldog goalkeeper Matt DeFina to make five saves. On the other side of the pitch, Redlands fired 17 shots, hitting the frame a total of seven times.
